Intelligent Speed Adaptation

Warns you if you’re speeding by comparing your location, via an external GPS network, with the speed limit at your location. Advanced versions may limit your speed.

While driving, the speed limit may change from town-to-town or even by neighborhood. Using a special GPS network, this feature reduces the mental workload it takes to keep track of the speed limit by warning drivers when it’s about to change or when they’ve gone past it. Some features may even reduce your speed for you.

Another version of the feature reads the speed limit signs with a special camera, and informs the driver what the speed limit is.

This feature currently is being tested in Europe and may soon be introduced in the United States. We hope to learn more about this feature in the coming years.
