Cars are filled with technology these days designed to help drivers create safe environments. That’s a good thing. Sometimes, however, the names that describe the technology aren’t very clear. In fact, manufacturers tend to use different names for the same technology. The National Safety Council, in partnership with other leading organizations, wants to clear things up. Clearing the Confusion is a glossary that standardizes the terms for different technologies so that we can speak the same language and keep each other safe.
