Intersection Collision Avoidance

Provides you information about vehicles that are in or are about to enter the intersection ahead of you.

This feature updates drivers on the status of the intersection ahead – such as the status of the traffic light and whether there are cars about to enter it. Future versions of this feature may even incorporate vehicle-to-vehicle technology to allow cars nearing the same intersection to communicate their status with one another.

Currently, this feature is being studied and developed in the United States and Europe. We expect to hear more about this feature in the next couple years.
